SHANDONG-Precision Seeding Technology R&D Project was held in Weifang city,east Shandong Province on September 22,2017. This project falls under the "13th Five-Year National Plan" "Intelligent Agricultural Machinery and Equipment"Project,which is jointly implemented by Lovol Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd.,one of leading agricultural machinery company in China, and other 14 units including universities, research institutes and enterprises.
The mission of this project is mainly aimed to break technology bottlenecks such as precision seeding, depth control, simultaneous fertilizing under the mechanized precision high speed conditions on major crops such as rice,wheat, maize, soybean, potato, millet, rapeseed and alfalfa in China.
This project is divided into 5 different topics, one of which named Rice Precision Seeding Technology and Equipment Research and Development is undertaken by South China Agricultural University together with Ministry of Agriculture Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization and Debont Corp..This sub-topic will focus on key technologies and device development in rice precision high seeding and develop its working wide, intelligent equipment to accurately achieve all working requirement in high-speed sowing operation.
With this technology in place, intelligent rice seeding equipment will be upgraded and it could contribute to Chinese agricultural machinery development a lot.
