HARBIN-A kick-off meeting was held in Harbin city on Nov 4 on the National Key R & D Project "Joint Development and Application of High Yield Soybean Planting Technology and Supporting Agricultural Machinery in Kazakhstan" which was jointly undertaken by Debont Corp., Heilongjiang Academy of Land Reclamation Sciences, China Agricultural University, CITIC Construction, S.SEIFULLIN KAZAKH AGRO TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, Kazakhstan Davies Group Investment Co., Ltd.

Experts from the field of domestic soybean breeding, agricultural machinery and relevant officers from Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province, Science and Technology Bureau of Land Reclamation Bureau also chaired the meeting.

During the meeting, project director Mr.Liu Hanwu,chairman of Debont Corp., introduced project overall situation and implementation plan. As the project leader,Heilongjiang Academy of Land Reclamation Science was in charge of the entire project management and would conscientiously implement the project to ensure a final successful completion in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Utilizing Chinese soybean industry technology advantages, standing on position of improving the production and supply of local soybean in Kazakhstan, taking into account the Chinese soy products input,this project is based on the current Kazakhstan national conditions, geographical environment and other conditions. It is also aimed to establish a complete soybean chain of industrialization in Kazakhstan and build an integrated international soybean model, more importantly, to support "Belt and Road"  strategic implementation.
