The first China-Africa Tropical Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation Forum was held on  in Boao, Hainan on August 30. DEBONT Corp, the Secretariat of China Overseas Agricultural Development Alliance, was invited to send representatives to attend the meeting and deliver a speech. DEBONT.. has been committed to the development of the African market and has made tremendous contributions to China-Africa cooperation. China's aid Zimbabwe Demonstration Center is one of them.

Li Hongtao, Deputy director of the Center for Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said at the forum that the current international situation has undergone profound changes. China-Africa agricultural cooperation has ushered in a new period of strategic opportunities, and China-Africa relations have been upgraded in an all-round way. The relative backwardness of agricultural science and technology is still one of the constraints of agricultural development in Africa. Therefore, the construction of the China-Africa Agricultural Science Community will vigorously promote the accelerated development of China-Africa agricultural cooperation.
