China-aid Agricultural Technology Demonstration Centre Cooperated with Chinese Senior Agricultural Experts for Holding 2019 Crop Production Knowledge Training Course   

Chinese senior agricultural experts held crop production knowledge training course in China-aid Agricultural Technology Demonstration Centre, it totally trained 35 farmers and 90 students of Gwebi College in 26^th and 27^th , Feb, 2019.

Mr.Nyamangare, the director of education department of Ministry of Agriculture and Dr. Matizha, the principal of Gwebi College made warm remarks, otherwise, they attended to demonstration site for view and guide. The atmosphere of the training site was warm, and all trainees were in high spirits  

This training focused on local major crop varieties, especially maize, wheat, rise, soybean and peanut, the training highlighted basic knowledge of crop growth, Operational procedures for high yield crop cultivation techniques and key points of field management, otherwise, introduced successfully farming patterns, explained some main problem in later harvesting, processing and marketing. During this training courses, Chinese agricultural experts shared experiences in high-yield rice cultivation in China with farmers and students, then transferred Chinese rice cultivation techniques, also gained a lot of China-Zimbabwe friendship.   

The successful holding of this training activity is the result of in-depth cooperation between CATDC and senior agricultural experts, who will work together to make greater contribution to the building of China-Zimbabwe agricultural cooperation zone.
