The COADA delegation visited and inspected the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Qingdao

After the COADA organized the Symposium on Agricultural Cooperation in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Demonstration Zone on May 28, 2020, Chen Xiaojia, President of COADA and chairman of Citic Construction Co., LTD., led a delegation of COADA members to visit and respect SCO in Qingdao from June 13 to 14 2020.

Meng Qingsheng, Director of SCO management committee, Hao Guoxin, deputy Director and other leaders to meet Chen xiaojia delegation, accompanied by inspection on demonstration area, demonstration area planning exhibition hall, and seminars, deputy Director Hao Guoxin introduced and demonstrated agricultural cooperation, the project construction situation, participated the constructive communication.

The China-SCO regional economic and trade cooperation demonstration zones cover the whole region of Qingdao and will be constructed in accordance with the layout of one core zone plus N interconnected zones.

The core area is located in Jiaozhou, with a total area of 61.1 square kilometers, including 36.7 square kilometers of Jiaozhou Economic and Technological Development Zone and 24.4 square kilometers of conceptual planning new area.

The construction of demonstration zones will be guided by the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for President Xi’s New Era; will fully implement the guiding principles of the 19th CPC National Congress, the second and third Plenary Sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and promote the five-pronged overall plan; also will advance the four-pronged comprehensive strategy in a coordinated way, adhere to the people-centered development philosophy, and firmly adopt a new development philosophy.

According to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council decision deployment, build a new platform "area" of international cooperation, expand international logistics, modern trade and mutual investment, business and cultural exchange, cooperation, better play to the Qingdao economic corridor in the "area" new Asian-European land bridge construction and the role of maritime cooperation, strengthening the connectivity with the Shanghai cooperation organization nations, facilitate to form between home on land or sea, the open pattern of two-way each other aid.
